Bruce Waldholtz, MD
Dr. Bruce Waldholtz
was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He graduated Summa cum laude
with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychobiology from the
University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Waldholtz graduated from medical school
at the University of Pittsburgh; he completed his internal medicine
residency at Johns Hopkins University/Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical
Center, and then his gastroenterology fellowship at The Johns Hopkins
Hospital. Dr. Waldholtz has been board certified in gastroenterology
since 1989.
Dr. Waldholtz joined Gastroenterology Associates in July
of 1988. His professional interests are hereditary polyps/colon cancer
syndromes, hiatal hernias, GERD, eating disorders, and inflammatory
bowel disease. Dr. Waldholtz serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical
Internal Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School and mentors first
and second year medical students.
